What is the role of filler masterbatch? How to choose?

In the production process of filling masterbatch, functional masterbatch is used to produce finished plastic products. The coloring strength of the filling masterbatch is good and the finished product is separated, and the color is bright. There are no black spots or cross-sectional breakpoints in the finished product outline, and there is almost no color difference. Gobi color is more convenient, which can save raw materials and reduce labor costs. In the production process, the environmental requirements of the masterbatch and its impact on the surrounding environment are not significant. Therefore, from the phenomenon, the functional masterbatch will increase in the future.

A good processing equipment for filling masterbatch is a twisted twin-screw extruder, which has the advantages of sustainable production, low energy consumption, high production efficiency, constant operation, less manpower, semi-automatic foundation, beautiful operating environment, low noise, and little harm to the human body. The filling masterbatch is mainly dyed with fillers, and the fillers and additives endow the finished plastic with special functions, also known as the corresponding functional filling masterbatch.

The filling masterbatch commonly used in daily life is polyolefin filling masterbatch, which is composed of carrier resin, filling material and various additives, of which 90% is the main component. Polyolefin filler masterbatches are mainly used to produce polyethylene, polypropylene and other polyolefin plastics.

When choosing a filler masterbatch, we should pay attention to several issues in order to choose a better filler masterbatch. What is the specific method?

The basic requirement of the pigment used in the heat-resistant masterbatch is to withstand the temperature in the production process of polypropylene to maintain the stability of performance. General room temperature needs to be above 270~280. The pigment used in the dispersion filling masterbatch should be well dispersed and evenly distributed on the filling masterbatch, and the dispersant used will not reduce the quality of the polypropylene fiber. Otherwise, it is impossible to produce high-quality dope colored fibers, the operation is unstable, and it is easy to break from the fibers or produce abnormal fibers.

Luminescent polypropylene dope coloring has a variety of uses, which are used for bed sheets, base fabrics and knitwear, requiring bright colors. Organic pigments are bright, bright and easy to color. Therefore, those who are used for the above purposes must use organic pigments.

Light fastness Under the action of light, some pigments have photosensitivity, which makes colored fibers fade and become brittle. The light fastness of pigments is basically related to chemical structure. Therefore, in the production of filling masterbatch, should pay full attention to the light fastness of pigment. When a light-resistant pigment is used, it is conceivable to add an ultraviolet absorber.

The colored fiber polymer has good stability to the colored polyester fiber through long-term contact with the pigment used in the hot-fill masterbatch. When exposed to light or high temperatures, the pigments do not react with the fibers to form new chemical components, thereby reducing the performance of the polymer for quilting.
