Heavy Calcium Carbonate, often abbreviated as Heavy Calcium or GCC (Ground Calcium Carbonate), is produced using high-quality marble as the raw material. Its main chemical component is CaCO₃. Heavy Calcium is characterized by high whiteness, good purity, soft color tone, and stable chemical composition. It is typically used as a filler and is widely utilized in daily chemical and industrial sectors such as artificial floor tiles, rubber, plastics, papermaking, coatings, paints, inks, cables, construction materials, food, pharmaceuticals, textiles, animal feed, and toothpaste. Acting as a filler, it helps increase product volume and reduce production costs. When used in rubber, it increases the volume, improves processability, provides semi-reinforcing or reinforcing effects, and helps regulate the hardness of the rubber.
